Nature-Inspired Yoga
Whether it’s the sun, which interacts with rain to form a rainbow, a caterpillar that transforms into a butterfly or a flower that blossoms overnight—nature has always left us awestruck. But most of us spend our time indoors and in urban spaces, which are dominated by buildings, vehicles and other human-made infrastructure. Sadly, we have forgotten that we, as human beings, are also one of nature’s many creations. But Yoga, as a discipline emerged at a time when mankind interacted with nature way more than we do today. It is from observing nature in action that strongly influenced the early yogis. Therefore, it is no surprise that there are so many asanas or poses based on nature. Nature -Inspired Yoga – an online yoga class by Eureka – for kids between age 5-12 is helmed by Ritu Malhotra. She has put together a sequence of carefully formulated poses, which draw inspiration from mother nature, all so that you can reconnect with her.
