Animal-Inspired Yoga
Yoga is an ancient Indian science that unites the body, mind and spirit to ensure that those who practice it experience a sense of wellbeing and excellent health. Practicing yoga every day improves your strength, flexibility, sensitivity, intuition and awareness. The origin of yoga dates back to the days of the Vedas. A time where mankind interacted with other living creatures way more than we do today. It is from watching them in action and motion that yoga found its inspiration. Therefore, it is no surprise that there are so many asanas or poses based on the postures of birds, animals, amphibians and reptiles. Animal-Inspired Yoga – an online yoga class by Eureka – for kids between age 5-12 is helmed by Ritu Malhotra. She has put together a sequence of poses which are inspired by animals, all so that you can get in touch with your inner animal and harness its power and live a healthy, well-rounded life.
